  New owners took all the great staples off the menu and put out a brand new menu. The food might still be good, but the regular customers are very disappointed. No more ruebens. No more seasoned fries. No more nachos. No more widow maker burgers. No more AYCE boneless wings. We used to go every week but I doubt we go back.

  The Widow is a great place to go with a small group of friends or on a date. The balcony is a fantastic place to sit and observe local traffic, the annual HerrinFesta Italiana, and to listen to the Widow's outdoor music on summer weekends. The food is good - I recommend the BBQ sandwich and seasoned fries. The staff is very friendly. Downside: parking is somewhat limited, but the location is easily accessible downtown Herrin.

  Very nice spot for dinner and drinks. The outdoor area across the street often has live entertainment.
